Current rated for your style.
Strength and direction, judged for reef, drift, deep drop, bottom, kite, or inshore, in plain words from Little or No to Too Much.
Ocean Pulse IQ reads the current, wind, and conditions at your spot and rates them for the way you fish, before you make the run. Less searching. Less fuel. More time with lines in the water.
Coming soon to iPhone and Android. Built in South Florida.

You run out to a spot you trust. Lines down, and there is no current. Or it is ripping so hard you cannot hold bottom. You pick up, run to the next one, and do it again. By the time you find the right water, you have burned the best hours of the morning and a good part of the tank.
Current is the difference between a good day and a long ride home. Until now, the only way to know what it was doing was to go out and look.
Paste coordinates from your chart app, dial them in, or pick one of your saved spots.

Reef, drift, deep drop, bottom, kite, or inshore. The right current for one style is the wrong current for another.

Your Bite IQ, current strength and direction rated for your style, your drift, and the best hours over the next four days.

In the app, it is one button: Check My Spot.
Plug in your boat. These are example numbers.
About $50 per trip
About $750 a season
That is fuel alone. It does not count the hours of the bite you spent riding instead of fishing.

Bite IQ brings the day's ocean, weather, and lunar conditions together into one score, so you can compare spots and hours at a glance.
Illustrative only.
After the trip, tell the app what you actually found: the current, the bite, and what you caught. It lines up your answer with what it showed you, keeps your biggest fish of each species, and tells you when you beat a personal best.

Strength and direction, judged for reef, drift, deep drop, bottom, kite, or inshore, in plain words from Little or No to Too Much.
See your estimated drift before you set up.
Find out before you rig the kites.
Hourly detail across four days, with confidence shown honestly as the forecast reaches further out.
Water temperature, visibility, pressure trend, and moon phase in the same view.
If a reading is not available, the app tells you. It never fills the gap with a made up number.
Mark the main species for each spot and the bycatch you see there, keep spot notes, and search or filter by species.

The app asks how yesterday went, so your log stays complete without you having to remember.
The whole app in both languages, in the words anglers actually use.
Your saved spots are locked to your account by the database itself, not just hidden by the app, so no other angler can see, search, or reach them. There is no public map of anyone's spots, and Ocean Pulse IQ never shares or sells them. Every time we change anything that touches your data, we try to break into our own app close to 200 different ways. Every attempt is refused.
Your catches and personal bests are private too.

Know whether the current is working the reef before you anchor up.
See the drift before you commit to it.
Find out whether you can hold bottom before you drop to it.
Current that is right for fishing the bottom, not just current in general.
A kite day needs the right wind as much as the right current. You get both.
Conditions for the flats, bays, and backcountry.
Make the most of the days you get on the water.
Spend the morning on the right spot, not the ride between them.
Fewer dry runs with clients aboard.
Film the app and show the forecast without showing the spot.

Ocean Pulse IQ was built by Ozzy Herrera, founder of Ocean Pulse Outdoors, who fishes South Florida and the Florida Keys. It started with a simple frustration: too many mornings spent running between spots looking for current. The app was built and tested on real trips in these waters before anyone else saw it.
Built and tested in South Florida. Works across US coastal waters and in the Bahamas.

Yes. Your saved spots are locked to your account by the database itself, and no other angler can see them. We test that on every change by trying close to 200 different ways to reach another angler's spots, and every attempt is refused. Ocean Pulse IQ never shares or sells spots, and you can hide coordinates on screen with one switch.
Today you can paste a spot's coordinates straight from your chart app. Importing a whole list at once is in development.
Yes. The trip log records the current and bite you found, what you caught by species, and your biggest fish, and it keeps your personal bests. It's private to your account.
